Why using a Field Termination Plug on a PoE application?
PoE solution has to be followed by using higher category cable with bigger conductors (ex. Cat6A 23 gauge solid conductors) to reduce attenuation and to get a better heat dissipation. BUT! Even an experienced installer will find it hard to fit bigger conductors in a modular plug.
Not only CAN a Field Termination Plug can solve the fitting problem, it is also easy to install and less skill required to achieve good termination.
